Pewdiepie vs T-Series: Subscriber data from 22 March 2019 until 1 April 2019

During a subscriber audit by Youtube on 22 March, 18:16, Pewdiepie lost several thousand subscribers, with T-Series taking the lead as a consequence. Pewdiepie could however recover his lead at 18:45. Pewdiepie had already been surpassed several times on the same day, with each surpassing only lasting for a maximum of a few minutes. They occured at 9:22, 10:20 and from 11:35 to 11:46.

On 24 March,  T-Series surpassed Pewdiepie but was overtaken by Pewdiepie shortly after.

On 25 March, the lead changed between the two channels multiple times. In the afternoon, T-Series took the lead, which peaked around 18:15 with a subscriber gap of approximately 19000 subscribers. After 15h 09min and another routine audit by Youtube, causing Pewdiepie to loose approximately 4000 subscribers, Pewdiepie regained the lead.

On 26 March, T-Series reportedly gained the lead on at least one occasion for a short period of time before keeping the lead for approximately 14h 40min. The subscriber gap peaked at approximately 18000 subscribers.

27 March marks the first day of T-Series holding the lead for over 24 hours. The subscriber gap peaked at around 37000 subscribers on 27 March, around 65000 on 28 March, around 96000 subscribers on the 29 March and more than 110000 subscribers on the 30 March and 31 March. After the release of the music video Congratulations by Pewdiepie, the the subscriber gap started to shrink again with Pewdiepie surpassing T-Series again on 1 April, 12:03. At approximately 2 April, 0:00, Pewdiepie had a lead of 100000 subscribers.
